Code Play Learn is excited to offer our Computer Game Creation Camp designed to teach kids how to build their own computer games.  This camp is designed for students who are currently in K-3rd grade.

Using MIT's Scratch programming platform, campers will create their own interactive media, including stories, games and animations.   Throughout the week campers will learn the fundamentals of coding including loops, decision statements, variables, mathematical operators, Boolean logic, events and more. Our camp helps develop a child's ability to think creatively, work collaboratively and reason systematically as they become makers with technology rather than just a user of technology.

Code Play Learn's activities will take place at 1148 W Diversey Pkwy, Chicago, IL 60614. We ask that each camper bring their own snack. Please remember to exclude any foods that contain nuts. Space is limited to the first 18 campers.

The listed grade levels are recommendations. Please use your best judgement, based on your child's level of experience.
